This is a posthumous release of Jay Randall Overman's (1949-2016) songs. All were contained on a CD demo, which consisted of Jay/R's voice and acoustic rhythm guitar. He had willed one of his guitars to Johnny Z and upon receiving the instrument, Johnny discovered a demo recording, containing these religious inspired songs, which Jay/R had written and recorded. Unfortunately, the original master recording was not found and this copy had imperfections that Johnny Z painstakingly overcame. The resulting finished product is one that his good friend, Johnny Z, believed Jay/R may have envisioned.
